Vinyl Radio is a Chrome extension that lets you listen to internet radio stations from around the world without leaving your browser. This policy explains what data the extension uses and, just as importantly, what it does not do with it.
Vinyl Radio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with us or with any third party. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, and no telemetry of any kind.
Your preferences — the last country you browsed, the last station
you played, the current volume, and the cached station list — are
stored using Chrome's storage.local API, directly on
your device. This information never leaves your browser and is not
accessible to us or anyone else. You can clear it at any time by
removing the extension.
To keep audio playing while the popup is closed, Vinyl Radio uses
Chrome's offscreen API to host a hidden audio document.
This document exists only on your device and is used solely to
maintain the audio stream — it does not send data to us.
Vinyl Radio does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be posted at this same page with an updated "Last updated" date.
Questions about this policy or the extension can be directed via the support contact listed on the Chrome Web Store listing page.
